This place is a local landmark. It's one of our favorite" dive bars." We had dinner there as well, and it was quite tasty. It's a fun place to stop in for a cocktail and a quick, tasty bite to eat. We have been here several times and have always had a great experience.
Loree's Little Shack by the Railroad Track
About this place
In Rocklin, Loree's Little Shack by the Railroad Track reads less like a checklist stop and more like a local table you hear about from someone who already ate there. a family-friendly room frames the visit; a cozy dining room keeps you from rushing the meal.
The cooking favors clarity over trend: tacos, burger, and lobster show the kitchen's habits more than a marketing list. Seafood here leans fresh and straightforward rather than overdressed.
Service reads as attentive without hovering - the kind of room where questions about the day's specials get straight answers. Weeknights usually run quieter than weekends. The listing address is 4835 Pacific St, Rocklin, CA 95677.
That is the Platefolk brief in one stop: Loree's Little Shack by the Railroad Track in Rocklin, tacos on the table, and a visit that still feels like someone else's good tip.
Guests often mention the patio as part of why they linger. Double-check details before you go - kitchens change, and Platefolk prefers honest updates over frozen claims.
What we value here is consistency: a kitchen that repeats its strengths, a room that does not treat guests like tickets, and a Loree's Little Shack by the Railroad Track visit that still feels worth the trip across town. Bring curiosity, order something the staff recommends, and leave a short note afterward so the next diner arrives wiser.

I love a good dive bar!Went here for drinks, wasn't disappointed. They have a LARGE tequila selection to choose from. The staff was super friendly. We played music on the jukebox, talked with various patrons. Had an overall good time... Didn't try the food, but will definitely stop in again.
Just about the the best slice of heaven bar I've ever been in.Taco Thursdays are a real thing just like the atmosphere of this place.A true cultural hodge-podge of the dying Tavern biome. Worth every effort to have a drink here!
We go here for the tacos. And they never disappoint. Forget Jimboys. This is the real deal spot. It’s also a cool dive bar with hella tequila choices and pool and karaoke. But again. I’m obsessed w the tacos. 10/10
My husband and I traveled in from Atascocita, TX, we saw the great reviews and had to try it. WELP, it DID NOT disappoint! We were informed this place is over 100 yrs, and the inner dive bar shows all its proud years.ATTENTION ALL ADULTS: If you are in Old Town Rocklin, this is a must try. We have been here 5 days and 3 of those days we were here. I had the HOBO with firebox beans - Delicious (some of the best Pinto beans I have had), today I added lettuce and tomatoes and that made my sandwich a 10 out 10.
Had a great time Sunday night, originally stopped here to eat and ended up hanging out until midnight! Great food, service and vibes! The locals were very welcoming! For the person complaining about drinks being upcharged after 8pm, read your receipt, they were actually discounted! Nicole is a great bartender!
Certainly lives up to the other reviews on here. Beer selection is decent. Had the lobster tacos and roasted artichoke both were really really good!!! It looks and feels like a little hole in the wall dive bar but worth a visit if your looking for a good meal at a reasonable price
